There has been a bridge across the River Tame since the latter part of the 18th Century. The current bridge has been suffering over the past 50 years, with numerous utility crossings affecting it's overall integrity.
Our contract to replace the existing bridge with a new Pre-cast in-situ structure commenced in October 2013 with a completion program for Spring 2014, all part of the AMEY/BCC P.F.I. Project.
